Who we are — SKALE (“SKALE”, “we”, “us”) is operated by Book & Ear Ventures, C/ de los Pinos 12, 28660 Boadilla del Monte, Spain. By creating an account or using the service you agree to these Terms.
The service — SKALE is an AI workspace for nutritionists, built as a product layer on top of Notion. It helps you capture consultations, create personalized deliverables, deliver them through a branded client app, and track client progress. Features may evolve over time.
Accounts & eligibility — You must provide accurate account information and are responsible for activity under your account. You are responsible for obtaining the appropriate consents from your own clients before recording consultations or processing their data through SKALE.
Subscription & billing — Monthly subscription at 65€ / $75 per seat per month, excluding VAT. No commitment; cancel anytime and retain access until the end of the paid period. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law; applicable taxes are added at checkout.
Acceptable use — You agree not to misuse the service, including: violating any law or third party rights; uploading unlawful content; attempting to disrupt or reverse-engineer the service; or using it to provide medical advice you are not qualified to give. SKALE supports your professional practice; it does not replace your professional judgement.
Your content & data ownership — Your content, templates and client data remain yours. Everything lives in your own Notion workspace, and you can export it at any time. Each client’s data is kept separate. If you stop using SKALE, your data comes with you.
Intellectual property — SKALE, its templates, software and brand are owned by us and licensed to you for use while your subscription is active. You retain ownership of the content and methods you bring or create.
Third-party services — SKALE relies on third parties including Notion, AI model providers and hosting/payment providers. Your use may also be subject to their terms. We are not responsible for third-party services we do not control.
Disclaimers & liability — The service is provided “as is”. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we exclude implied warranties and our aggregate liability is limited to the fees you paid in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Termination — You may cancel anytime. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these Terms, giving notice where reasonable. On termination you keep the right to export your data.
Governing law — These Terms are governed by the laws of Spain, and disputes are subject to the competent courts of Madrid, Spain, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections.

Privacy Policy
Controller — Book & Ear Ventures is the data controller for account and website data. For client data you load into your workspace, you are the controller and SKALE acts as a processor on your behalf.
Data we collect — Account data (name, email, billing details); usage data (basic analytics about how the site and product are used); workspace content (consultations, notes, plans and client information you choose to process).
How we use it & legal bases — To provide and improve the service (contract), to handle billing (legal obligation), and to communicate with you (legitimate interest or consent). We do not sell your data.
Processors — We rely on carefully selected processors, including Notion (workspace), AI model providers (to generate deliverables), and hosting and payment providers. They process data under agreements consistent with GDPR.
Client data — Client data stays in your own Notion workspace, separate and private per client. You decide what is processed and for how long, and you can export or delete it at any time.
International transfers — Where data is processed outside the EEA, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses.
Retention — We keep account data while your subscription is active and as required by law. Workspace content is retained under your control and removed when you delete it or export and leave.
Your rights — Under GDPR you can access, rectify, erase, restrict, port or object to processing of your personal data, and lodge a complaint with the Spanish AEPD. Contact privacy@scale4notion.com.
Security — We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect data. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to keep your information safe.
Cookies
What cookies we use — A small number of cookies and similar technologies to make the site work and to understand usage: Essential (required for the site to function, e.g. remembering your language choice); Preferences (remember choices such as EN/ES); Analytics (aggregated, privacy-friendly statistics about how the site is used).
Managing cookies — You can control or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking essential cookies may affect how the site works. Your language preference is stored locally on your device.
